Andreas4TAMB-02 Theme for Thingamablog

This theme is a port of a open source template by Andreas Viklund that he simply called Andreas02. I saw Andreas’ template over at Open Source Web Design and though it would make a great blog theme. I’ve changed the colours a bit and made a few tweaks but for the most part still looks like the original.

Installation instructions

1. Unzip the andreas4tamb-02.zip file into a convenient location.
2. Locate your Thingamablog database (it will have a numerical folder name i.e. “1118777427031″) and copy all the database files to a safe place as a backup so you can return to your original templates in case of problems.
3. Open the “templates” folder and overwrite the template file with those in the Andreas4TAMB-02 archive.
4. Next open the “web” folder and copy the “images” folder to it and overwrite the “styles-site.css” file with the one in the archive.
5. The text right at the top of the page (line 17) and the email address for the Contact tab (line 30) will need editing when you have the theme installed. This can be done from within Thingamablog, so should be fairly easy – just look for the line numbers.
6. Finally republish your blog. (Make sure that you choose to republish your entire blog.)

If everything went well you should now have the Andreas4TAMB-02 theme installed.
