Shades4TAMB

This theme is based on the existing theme that you see in use here on ainsliejohnson.com which in turn was based on the Grigio Template.

Shades4TAMB is a simple 2 column theme that is made of valid XHTML and CSS and features a sidebar on the right and a tabbed horizontal menu for pages.

Installation instructions

  1. Unzip the shades4tamb.zip file into a convenient location.
  2. Locate your Thingamablog database (it will have a numerical folder name i.e. “1118777427031″) and copy all the database files to a safe place as a backup so you can return to your original templates in case of problems.
  3. Open the “templates” folder and overwrite the template file with those in the Shades4TAMB archive.
  4. Next open the “web” folder and copy the “images” folder to it, overwriting the existing files with the one in the archive.
  5. Edit any parts of the templates that you want to, such as the right side bar for instance.
  6. Finally republish your entire blog. (Make sure that you choose to republish your entire blog.)

If everything went well you should now have the Shades4TAMB theme installed.
